We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Patent Paralegal to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in patent law, particularly in proofreading and working with U.S. patents. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Experience with Notice of Allowance (NOA) checklists is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patent attorneys in preparing and filing patent applications and related documents
• Conduct thorough proofreading of patent applications and related documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Manage and maintain patent files and databases
• Prepare and review NOA checklists to ensure all necessary documents and information are included
• Conduct research on patent laws and regulations as needed
• Communicate with clients and other stakeholders to gather and provide information
• Assist in the preparation of legal documents for patent prosecution, including responses to office actions
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submissions of all required documents

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in a patent paralegal role, with specific experience in proofreading and working with U.S. patents
• Experience with NOA checklists
• Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in using patent management software and tools
• Knowledge of U.S. patent laws and regulations
