Job Description

Patent Attorney

Location: Pitampura, Delhi
Experience: 2+ years

Key Responsibilities

Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications (provisional, complete, PCT, national phase).
Conduct patentability, novelty, freedom-to-operate (FTO), and infringement searches.
Handle patent examination reports, office actions, and responses before the Indian Patent Office and foreign patent offices.
Advise clients on patent strategy, filing jurisdictions, timelines, and risks.
Coordinate with inventors, R&D teams, and international associates.
Assist in patent portfolio management and maintenance (renewals, annuities).
Support patent opposition, revocation, and litigation-related matters, if required.
Ensure compliance with applicable IP laws and regulations.
Stay updated with changes in patent laws, rules, and practices.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Technology (relevant domain).
Qualified Patent Agent registered with the Indian Patent Office (mandatory).
Law degree (LLB) preferred for Patent Attorney role.
Strong understanding of Indian Patent Act and international patent procedures.
Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
