We are looking for a Patent Associate who is passionate about innovation, technology, and intellectual property law, and who wants to build a strong career in patent drafting, filing, and prosecution.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct prior art searches and patentability assessments.

Draft and file patent applications (provisional and complete specifications).

Handle responses to examination reports and office actions.

Assist in patent prosecution before the Indian Patent Office.

Conduct freedom-to-operate (FTO) and infringement analyses.

Manage patent portfolios and maintain IP databases.

Coordinate with inventors, clients, and attorneys to ensure timely filing and compliance.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Biotechnology / Computer Science) or Science (Physics / Chemistry / Life Sciences).

Preferably a Registered Patent Agent or a candidate appearing for the Indian Patent Agent Examination.

Strong understanding of Indian Patent Law and global IP systems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong analytical, drafting, and research abilities.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in patent drafting, searches, or prosecution.

Knowledge of patent databases (e.g., Orbit, PatSeer, Google Patents, etc.).

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
