Patent Associate

In this role at RKD, you will have the opportunity to work in every aspect of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), including drafting, filing, prosecution, and litigation in various technology areas. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct patent & non-patent literature searches such as prior art, freedom to operate, and invalidation searches - Provide insightful analysis of search results and prepare value-added patent search reports - Draft Provisional and Complete Specifications for patent applications - Address Examination reports and Office Actions, and provide technical arguments in written & verbal forms - Assist in Patent Oppositions and support the litigation team through research and analysis - Attend IPR conferences and represent the firm effectively - Conduct seminars, workshops, and orientation programs to create IP awareness - Contribute to writing articles for various journals & magazines on behalf of the firm - Participate in and lead internal knowledge/resource sharing sessions - Contribute to the firm's newsletter - Track and meet deadlines set by Senior Management - Utilize and update data in the firm's IP Management System Qualifications Required: - Graduate/Postgraduate/Doctorate in Electricals with a strong academic record - In-depth knowledge of IPR or minimum two years of experience in IPR - Preference for Registered Patent Agents - Proficiency in MS Office and necessary drawing packages - Excellent command over the English language (written & verbal) Additional Details: Candidates are required to sign a contract for a minimum period of three years. Salary and other terms will be based on qualifications and experience.
