Parts Manager

As a Parts Manager at Mills Automotive Group, located in Shelby, NC, you will play a crucial role in leading our parts department to success. We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual who is passionate about achieving results and providing exceptional customer service. In this role, you will collaborate closely with upper management and sales associates to ensure that business needs are effectively met. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the daily operations of the parts department, including ensuring that employees adhere to work schedules and policies, setting and striving to meet department goals, hiring and training staff, and maintaining a balanced inventory. You will also be responsible for assisting customers in a courteous and professional manner, supervising stock order procedures, and accurately pricing parts and accessories. To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent, prior experience in automotive sales management, excellent communication and customer service skills, and a strong understanding of inventory control. Proficiency in computer and phone systems, a professional demeanor, a strong work ethic, and a valid driver's license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) are also required.
