Job Description:

The Part Process Operator is responsible for processing, fabricating, and preparing metal and non-metal parts used in commercial kitchen equipment. The role involves operating machinery, following technical drawings, and ensuring components meet quality and safety standards before assembly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate machines such as cutting, bending, punching, shearing, grinding, and drilling as per job requirements.
• Process stainless steel, mild steel, and other materials used in kitchen equipment manufacturing.
• Read and understand job cards, drawings, and production instructions.
• Measure and inspect parts to ensure accuracy, dimensions, and quality standards.
• Perform deburring, finishing, and surface preparation of parts.
• Maintain production records and report any defects or machine issues to the supervisor.
• Follow safety guidelines and proper use of PPE at all times.
• Coordinate with fabrication, welding, and assembly teams for smooth workflow.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of machines and work area.

Skills & Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of fabrication processes and shop-floor machines.
• Ability to read simple drawings and use measuring instruments (vernier, scale, caliper).
• Experience working with SS 304 / SS 316 materials preferred.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to work in shifts if required.
