Job Description

1.

  • Convert Walk-In Inquiries to Enrolments:

    Engage effectively with parents who visit the school in person by providing tailored tours, immediate access to key staff (such as the principal or admissions officer), and prompt, informative responses. Build rapport, highlight the schools strengths, and help in completing the application on the spot to increase the likelihood of immediate or guaranteed enrolment.
  • Respond to Inquiries:

    Answer queries via email, phone, or in person regarding admission process/criteria, fees, deadlines, and the school policies.
  • Promote the School:

    Participate in school fairs, open days, and marketing campaigns to attract prospective students and parents.
  • Schedule School Tours/Interviews:

    Coordinate tours, interviews, and meetings with teaching staff or leadership.

  • Receive and Review Applications:

    Collect application forms and ensure they are complete with all required documents (e.g., Aadhar card, Other ID Proofs).
  • Evaluate Eligibility:

    Verify that applicants meet the academic and administrative requirements for entry.
  • Coordinate Testing and Interviews:

    Organize entrance exams or interviews if part of the admissions process.
  • Communicate Admission Decisions:

    Notify applicants about admission outcomes and offer guidance on next steps.

  • Student Registration:

    Assist admitted students with completing enrolment forms, and submission of required documents.
  • Create and Update Records:

    Enter student information into school management systems accurately and also in SATS.
  • Verify Identity and Documentation:

    Ensure the authenticity of submitted documents such as birth certificates, proof of residence, and previous academic records.
  • Assign Student IDs and Class Placement:

    Generate student ID numbers and place students in the appropriate classes based on age, academic history, or test results.

  • Conduct Orientation Programs:

    Help new students and parents understand school rules, timetables, expectations, and support systems.
  • Liaise with Teachers and Departments:

    Ensure smooth handover of relevant student data to teachers, special education coordinators, or counsellors.
  • Support International or Special Needs Students:

    Provide additional guidance or coordination for students with special educational needs or from overseas.

5. Data Management and Reporting

  • Maintain Accurate Records:

    Ensure all enrolment data is kept up-to-date, secure, and in compliance with data protection policies.
  • Generate Reports:

    Prepare enrolment statistics, demographic summaries, and application trends for school leadership.
  • Monitor Capacity and Intake:

    Track school enrolment numbers against planned capacity to inform strategic planning.

6. Policy and Compliance

  • Implement Admission Policies:

    Ensure that admission and enrolment are conducted fairly and in accordance with the schools policies and CBSE guidelines.
  • Handle Appeals or Disputes:

    Manage any admission-related complaints, appeals, or reconsideration requests.
  • Stay Updated with Legislation:

    Keep abreast of changes in education laws or policies that affect enrolment procedures.

7. Stakeholder Communication

  • Internal Communication:

    Coordinate with finance, academic, and student support departments to streamline processes.
  • Parent Engagement:

    Maintain regular and professional communication with parents throughout the admissions and enrolment process.
  • Alumni and Referral Programs:

    Engage with alumni or existing families for word-of-mouth promotion or sibling enrolment.
