Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying paint or other finishes to various surfaces including walls, ceilings, equipment, and structures. The ideal candidate should have experience with both interior and exterior painting, be comfortable using tools such as sprayers and rollers, and ensure high-quality work with attention to safety and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting (e.g., scraping, sanding, patching holes, masking, cleaning).
• Mix paints to desired color and consistency.
• Apply paint, varnish, stain, enamel, and other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
• Protect surrounding areas and furniture from paint spills or splashes.
• Maintain painting tools and equipment in good condition.
• Follow all safety and environmental regulations and guidelines.
• Clean up job sites and dispose of hazardous materials safely.
• Match paint colors and finishes based on customer requirements or job specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of work done and materials used.
• Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to complete projects on time.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a painter (minimum [X] years preferred).
• Familiarity with painting materials and techniques.
• Ability to work at heights and on scaffolding or ladders.
• Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for calculating surface area and estimating paint quantity.
• Ability to read blueprints and instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certification in painting or relevant trade (preferred but not required).

Work Conditions:

• May involve working indoors or outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Exposure to paint fumes, chemicals, and solvents—PPE must be worn.
• Physically demanding; requires standing, bending, lifting, and reaching.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹9,714.67 - ₹30,000.00 per month
