Paint Shop Supervisor

Job Purpose:

To oversee and manage all operations in the paint shop, ensuring that components and equipment are painted efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company quality standards and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and monitor daily paint shop activities (surface preparation, primer, painting, drying, and finishing).
• Allocate manpower and ensure optimal utilization of resources, tools, and materials.
• Maintain workflow to meet production targets and delivery timelines.

Quality & Process Control

• Ensure painting quality standards (surface finish, thickness, adhesion, and appearance) are met.
• Conduct regular inspection of painted components and ensure rework, if required, is minimized.
• Implement process improvements to enhance quality and reduce wastage.

Safety & Housekeeping

• Enforce compliance with all safety norms, PPE usage, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain proper ventilation, cleanliness, and organization within the paint shop.

Team Management

• Supervise, train, and motivate paint shop operators, helpers, and technicians.
• Monitor attendance, performance, and discipline of team members.
• Promote teamwork and ensure adherence to company policies.

Inventory & Equipment Maintenance

• Monitor and manage inventory of paints, thinners, and consumables.
• Ensure regular cleaning and maintenance of spray guns, booths, compressors, and ovens.
• Report breakdowns or maintenance requirements promptly to the maintenance department.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily production reports, paint consumption records, and quality check reports.
• Coordinate with the quality control and production departments for continuous improvement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
