Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Paint Prep Artist for a full-time, on-site position at our Chennai location. The role involves preparing visual effects shots by removing unwanted elements, cleaning plates, and ensuring seamless continuity in the final output. The Paint Prep Artist will work closely with compositors and other team members to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment while adhering to project timelines and creative briefs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using industry-standard software for paint and prep work, such as Nuke, Silhouette, or equivalent tools
• Strong understanding of color correction, tracking, and rotoscoping techniques
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency across multiple shots
• Problem-solving skills to address challenges and deliver seamless visual effects
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team, follow instructions, and adapt to feedback
• Prior experience in a VFX studio or similar environment is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Visual Effects, Animation, or a related field is preferred
