Pain Consultant

Job Responsibilities: Evaluate patients presenting with acute or chronic pain conditions. Conduct thorough clinical assessments, review medical histories, and identify pain sources. Prescribe appropriate medications, therapies, and interventions as per pain protocols. Monitor treatment progress and modify care plans as needed. Provide patient education and counseling regarding pain management and lifestyle modifications. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records. Participate in clinical discussions, case reviews, and departmental meetings. Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety, and quality care standards. Stay updated on advancements in pain management techniques and medications. Key Skills Required: Strong clinical and diagnostic skills. Good communication and patient-handling ability. Empathy and professionalism in managing chronic pain patients. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in maintaining medical records and documentation. Qualification: MBBS from a recognized medical college/university. Additional certification or training in Pain Management (preferred). Valid registration with the Medical Council.
