Packaging Maintenance Lead

As an incumbent at JRS India Corporation Private Limited, a subsidiary of the J.R. Simplot Company, your role involves providing leadership and direction for the effective operation and maintenance of equipment and processes in a safe, environmentally sound, and efficient manner. You will supervise, schedule, evaluate, train, and motivate hourly personnel while maintaining a high level of confidentiality. It is expected of you to lead process, organizational, and personnel improvement efforts and positively represent the views of your leadership to others. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain good communication among departments, crews, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations. - Provide necessary training and tools to direct reports for safe and efficient job completion. - Strengthen workplace safety through compliance with regulations, inspections, and training, and uphold environmental compliance standards. - Support safety programs and promote new and innovative approaches. - Lead by example, foster open communication, coach employees, set goals, conduct performance evaluations, and address work-related issues. - Supervise operating, maintenance, and troubleshooting processes, ensuring precise communication of procedures to direct reports. - Troubleshoot, monitor, and maintain equipment while completing required reports and inspections. - Manage costs within budget, ensure equipment uptime, and minimize downtime through effective partnerships across departments. Qualification Required: - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) - 3+ years of related experience and/or training - Progressive experience in an industrial environment with prior supervisory experience being desirable Additional Information: You will be based at the GF Plant in Gujarat, India.
