Job Title: Sr.Software Engineer (Oracle EBS + Oracle EDI)Work Location: Bangalore (BCIT, Bhartiya City, Thanisandra)Job Type: Full-Time/PermanentExperience Level: 4+ YearsPosition Function:This role will be primarily responsible for designing, building, modifying, testing, maintaining, and supporting of Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2+ customizations related to EDI integrations and E-Commerce applications.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Requirements, Analysis, & Design: Gather and Analyze user requirements based on technical needs. Determine tool sets, and design components Oracle E-Business Suite customizations. Technical Development: Develop, Program well designed Oracle Forms, APEX Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle PL/SQL Packages using standard designs and development methodologies. Integrate applications from various back-end services, concurrent programs, and databases. Use source code version control systems to maintain configurations. Testing & Deployment: Create unit, system integration, production deployment scripts, and conduct tests. Deploy code to production by following change management procedures. Support software upgrade projects and patching tasks by testing and making required code adjustments. Monitoring & Maintenance: Respond to standardize alerts, perform analysis, monitor and identify any issues. Support in maintaining overall system health to maximize system uptime, and ensure delivery of service level objectives.Support: Work on customer support tickets and requests. Provide on-call support, assist project, development, security, and operations teams as required.Trouble Shooting: Troubleshoot development and production problems. Work with Development, DBA, Server, and Network administrators to resolve application problems. Provide support for restoration of service and perform root cause analysis.Documentation: Develop documentation for assigned projects including design, testing, installation, and troubleshooting guides as applicable,Best Practices: Keep abreast with the latest developments in the industry and guide project teams to industry best practices.Skills/Experience Requirements4+ years of experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2 Customizations4+ years of experience in developing EBS customizations using Oracle tools like Oracle Forms, APEX, Oracle Reports, PL/SQL package.4+ years of experience building customizations using Oracle Application Object library.Good knowledge of Oracle E-Business suite System Administration, Application Object LibraryGood technical understanding of Oracle E-Business suite Order to Cash, and Procure to Pay tables, workflows, and standard concurrent processes.Excellent skills in writing SQL statements, PL/SQL packages, and performance tuning.Good knowledge and experience working with EDI documents like 850, 856, 870,810.Working knowledge of Oracle B2B is a plus.Experience developing applications using Oracle SOA is a plus.Education RequirementsBachelors degree in information technology or equivalentSpecial Requirements:Communications – Excellent written and oral English communication skills a good listener with a team player attitude, problem solving, negotiation, issue management, and mediation, and have good technical documentation skills are essential for this position.Overall – Ability to work in fast paced environment being self-motivated, pleasantly aggressive, and assertive, realistically ambitious with high personal ethics.
