Job Description

We are looking for a skilled OT Technician with 2 to 7 years of experience to prepare the OT for eye surgeries, including cataract, glaucoma, retina, cornea, and other ophthalmic procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ophthalmic surgery and be able to assist surgeons and nurses during these procedures.

Roles and Responsibility

Prepare the OT for various eye surgeries, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready.
Assist surgeons and nurses during ophthalmic procedures, maintaining proper patient care and safety.
Ensure proper sterilization of instruments, consumables, and equipment to prevent infection and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Handle and maintain OT equipment such as microscopes, phaco machines, lasers, and vitrectomy units.
Arrange surgical instruments, IOLs, sutures, and disposables according to case requirements.
Maintain OT cleanliness, infection control, and biomedical waste disposal to ensure a safe working environment.

Job Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in an OT setting, preferably in ophthalmic surgery.
Strong knowledge of ophthalmic procedures, including cataract, glaucoma, retina, and cornea surgeries.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, assisting surgeons and nurses during procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Familiarity with hospital protocols, NABH standards, and safety guidelines is essential.
Any Graduate or Postgraduate degree in a relevant field.
