OT Technician

As a Hospital Infection Control Nurse, your role involves implementing the Hospital Infection Control program effectively. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conducting Infection Control surveillance activities in various critical areas of the hospital such as Operation Theatres, Intensive Care Units, nursing areas, OPD, CSSD, Blood storage, Bio medical waste storage, Pharmacy, and Lab according to the schedule provided. - Compiling and analyzing hospital infection data on a daily basis, identifying outliers, and ensuring compliance with infection control protocols. - Monitoring the use of disinfectants regularly to maintain a hygienic environment. - Implementing NABH & NE standards to uphold quality standards in infection control practices. - Ensuring patient safety by monitoring hospital-acquired infections and medication safety related to surgical prophylaxis. - Providing regular training on Infection Control protocols to all health professionals in the hospital. - Facilitating employee vaccinations against infectious diseases to prevent outbreaks. - Conducting monthly audits to verify compliance with Infection Control protocols within the hospital. - Coordinating and monitoring the results of culture tests for water, air, and swab samples, taking timely actions on positive reports. - Supervising Hepa-filter validation procedures to maintain air quality standards. - Overseeing practices related to Hand hygiene, bio medical waste management, and HAI care bundles. - Visiting bio medical waste agencies and external laundries biannually to ensure compliance with infection control measures. - Undertaking any additional tasks as assigned by the Head of the Department. - Monitoring and tracking patients with intravascular catheters, urinary catheters, surgical wounds, and ET tubes. - Coordinating with the central sterile supply department and overseeing the functions of the CSSD technician. Additionally, the job requires a qualification of a Diploma in Anesthesia Technology and a minimum of 1-5 years of experience in a similar role. This full-time position is based in Indore.,
