OT Staff Nurse

As a Surgical Technologist, your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of surgical procedures by preparing instruments and equipment, maintaining sterility throughout the operation, and providing assistance to the surgical team. You will work closely with the circulating nurse to confirm that all necessary equipment is in good condition before the procedure begins. Additionally, you will assist in gowning and gloving the surgeon and assistant surgeon, as well as assembling drapes and preparing sutures and needles according to the requirements of the surgery. During the operation, you will be responsible for passing instruments, anticipating the surgeon's needs, and maintaining a clean and sterile environment. It is essential to adhere to the hospital's policies regarding sponge and instrument counts, as well as maintaining awareness of patient safety at all times. After the surgery is complete, you will assist the surgeon in suturing the incision, applying dressings, and ensuring that all instruments and equipment are properly cleared away. Effective communication with the surgical team and maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization are key aspects of this role. This is a full-time position with rotational shifts, and fluency in Hindi is preferred. The work location is in person, requiring your presence in the operation suite to carry out your duties effectively.,
