OT Staff Nurse

preparing the OT for surgery, assisting surgeons, monitoring patients' vital signs during procedures, and providing post-operative care. Key responsibilities also involve maintaining a sterile environment, handling instruments, documenting care, and ensuring patient safety and infection control throughout the perioperative period.

• Pre-operative:
• Prepare the operating room by ensuring it is clean, sterile, and stocked with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies.
• Check and sterilize all equipment before surgery begins.
• Assess the patient's condition and prepare them for the procedure, including disinfecting the surgical site.
• Intra-operative:
• Assist surgeons and other members of the surgical team during operations.
• Maintain a sterile field and apply aseptic techniques at all times.
• Pass instruments and equipment to the surgeon as needed.
• Monitor the patient's vital signs and communicate any changes to the surgical team.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon.
• Perform or assist with counting sponges, instruments, and needles.
• Post-operative:
• Provide care to patients in the recovery room.
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care instructions.
• Ensure proper handling of hazardous waste and biomedical waste disposal

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
