As a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) Technical Analyst at Chevron, your role is crucial in advancing, advising, and executing on BCM initiatives for OT/PCN environments. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess business processes, develop comprehensive BCP and DR plan documents, and coordinate functional test requirements in alignment with the company's Disaster Recovery Cyber Policy. Your responsibilities include: - Assessing business processes and identifying critical functions and dependencies specific to OT/PCN environments. - Developing, updating, and maintaining tailored BCP and DR plan documents. - Designing and implementing functional test requirements for BCP and DR plans. - Facilitating and coordinating BCP and DR functional tests, documenting outcomes, and recommending improvements. - Conducting risk assessments, business impact analyses, and gap analyses to strengthen business continuity and disaster recovery strategies. - Providing technical guidance for backup verification and executing backup and recovery solutions for PCN environments. - Conducting training and guidance on BCP and DR procedures for OT/PCN staff. - Supporting incident response and post-event review activities to improve BCP and DR programs. Qualifications required for this role include: - 5 to 8+ years of experience in business continuity planning, disaster recovery, or related disciplines. - Experience in leading BCP/DR frameworks, methodologies, and best practices. - Proficiency in backup software and tools for industrial environments. - Knowledge of cybersecurity principles to safeguard backup data. - Strong communication and coordination skills. - Willingness to travel, work onsite, and adapt to dynamic requirements. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should possess expertise in BCP/DR frameworks, methodologies, and best practices, technical knowledge of PCN systems, and cybersecurity experience. Strong leadership skills and effective communication across organizational levels are essential for this role.
