Ticket Handling – Log, categorize, and prioritize incidents using ITSM tools. 3. Basic Troubleshooting – Resolve login, printer access, mapped drives, and account lockouts. 4. Active Directory Tasks – Unlock user accounts, reset passwords, basic user/group changes. 5. Daily Checks – Perform server health checks (CPU, memory, disk space). 6. Patch Status Check – Verify if patches are applied; escalate if needed. 7. Backup Verification – Check backup job status and escalate failures. 8. Reboot Requests – Assist with planned or emergency server reboots. 9. Asset Documentation – Update server inventory and logs. 10. Escalation – Escalate complex issues to L2 with proper documentation. Backup & Storage – L1 (Monitoring & Basic Operations) 1. Daily Backup Monitoring – Check the status of backup jobs and report failures. 2. Ticket Management – Log, track, and update incidents or service requests in the ITSM tool. 3. Tape Handling – Perform physical tape mounting, labeling, rotation, and vaulting. 4. Basic Restore Requests – Initiate restore jobs as per standard procedures. 5. Report Generation – Prepare daily/weekly backup status and capacity reports. 6. Alert Monitoring – Monitor alerts from backup tools (e.g., NetBackup, Veeam, Commvault) and escalate as needed. 7. Drive Health Checks – Monitor backup hardware status like tape drives and disk libraries. 8. Catalog Jobs – Perform basic cataloging tasks or escalate if issues are found. 9. Media Management – Track tape/media movement and labeling based on retention policies. 10. Escalation – Escalate failed jobs or issues to L2/L3 with necessary logs and details.

You will also be responsible for coordinating with Axis Bank IT and Information Security team for day-to-day operations related to obtaining firewall approvals, access to specific applications, and software installations, coordinating with Axis Bank IT team for installing compliance software like antivirus, configuring user email IDs, setting up printer drivers for local and network printers, providing on-site support for patch and antivirus updates, basic system administration tasks such as space management, verifying backups and DR replication, maintaining hardware asset inventory, ensuring no unauthorized software is loaded on desktops/laptops, handling IT-related tasks, capturing tickets in Unidesk Portal, managing Axis Finances IT asset inventory, preparing monthly end-user reports, and performing manual patching/upgrading software on all AFL end-user systems as required.
