Key Responsibilities: Prepare erection drawings , GA drawings , and connection details for US-based structural steel projects. Review design drawings, specifications, and client standards before starting detailing. Ensure all detailing work complies with AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction) standards and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines. Coordinate with internal checkers, modelers, and project managers to resolve design and detailing issues. Revise drawings as per client comments and change orders. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable US steel detailing standards, erection procedures, and safety requirements. Work on 2D/3D modeling and detailing software such as AutoCAD , Tekla Structures (as per project requirements). Adhere to project deadlines and quality standards. Key Requirements: Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil / Structural / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of experience in steel detailing focused on erection drawings for US projects. Strong understanding of AISC detailing standards and OSHA safety requirements for erection. Proficient in AutoCAD , Tekla Structures ,. Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and connection design drawings. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and communication ability. Ability to work in a team-oriented, deadline-driven environment.
