Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and execute monthly and out-of-band Windows patch deployments across ~70,000 endpoints.
Coordinate with internal teams to prevent patching conflicts and ensure minimal business disruption.
Develop, maintain, and enhance PowerShell scripts to automate patching, reporting, compliance tracking, and alerting.
Perform pre- and post-patching validation, including log review, system health checks, and rollback testing where necessary.
Troubleshoot patch failures by analyzing event logs, update logs, and system diagnostics.
Document patching procedures, known issues, and mitigation steps for internal knowledge sharing.

Preferred candidate profile

1 - 3 years of experience in Patching and Endpoint Management.
Hands-on experience in PowerShell scripting
Experience in endpoint management tools like SCCM and Intune is a plus.
Solid understanding of Windows system administration, Event Viewer, and update mechanisms.
Should be willing to work in 3pm-1am IST shift timings.
