We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive L2/L3 Server Support & Patching Engineer to take charge of critical server health, patching lifecycles, and vulnerability remediation across enterprise platforms.

This role requires hands-on expertise in Windows/Linux server environments, automation tools, and patching platforms such as SCCM, WSUS, ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus, or Ivanti. The ideal candidate will play a key role in incident resolution, compliance initiatives, and driving infrastructure optimization.

Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for server hardware/software issues Lead end-to-end patch management, including planning, scheduling, testing, deployment, and rollback

Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, PCI-DSS)

Collaborate with InfoSec teams for vulnerability scanning, impact assessment, and remediation

Optimize patch cycles using tools like SCCM/MCM,

WSUS, ManageEngine, or Ivanti Automate routine maintenance tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Ansible

Maintain OS and software version baselines, update repositories, and deployment reports Monitor server

performance and uptime; escalate persistent issues to vendor or OEM support Drive continuous improvement across patching strategies and server reliability standards Mentor L1/L2 team members and guide them on escalated incidents and patching best practices Deep knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS) environments

Proficiency with SCCM, WSUS, ManageEngine, or other enterprise patching solutions Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policies, and server hardening techniques

Strong scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools like Qualys, Nessus, or Rapid7 Solid grasp of incident management frameworks (ITIL), SLAs, and escalations
