About The Opportunity

A healthcare services provider in the private/community hospital sector, delivering comprehensive clinical care including emergency trauma management, elective orthopaedics and perioperative services. We are expanding our surgical team in Charkhi Dadri, Haryana and are hiring a full-time, on-site Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon to lead orthopaedic care for adults and trauma patients.Role: Consultant Orthopaedic SurgeonRole & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient, inpatient and emergency orthopaedic care including diagnosis, pre-operative planning and post-operative follow-up.
• Perform a full range of orthopaedic procedures: trauma fixation, joint arthroplasty (hip/knee), arthroscopic interventions and minor orthopaedic operations with independent operative ownership.
• Lead acute trauma management and participate in on-call rotas for emergency orthopaedic presentations and fractures.
• Collaborate with anaesthesia, nursing and physiotherapy teams to optimise perioperative care, ERAS pathways and early mobilisation protocols.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, surgical registries and inventory control for implants and consumables; ensure adherence to infection control and surgical safety checklists.
• Mentor and supervise junior doctors and allied health staff; contribute to continuous medical education, morbidity & mortality meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• MS (Orthopaedics) or DNB (Orthopaedics)
• Proven operative experience in joint replacement and trauma fixation with independent surgical practice
• Clinical competency in arthroscopy, knee arthroplasty and hip arthroplasty
• Experience using intraoperative fluoroscopy (C-arm) and implant fixation systems
• Certifications in basic life support (BLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) or equivalent
• Strong documentation practices and familiarity with surgical safety and infection-control protocols
  

Preferred

• Fellowship or focused training in joint replacement or arthroscopy
• Experience in a high-volume orthopaedic theatre and exposure to MIS/robot-assisted workflows
• Prior experience serving in district/rural hospital settings or leading small surgical teams
