Position Summary
The Senior Oracle Fusion System Administrator is responsible for the
end-to-end administration, configuration, and support
of Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications across Finance, HCM, SCM, Procurement, and related modules. This role blends
technical administration
(infrastructure, integrations, performance tuning) and
functional consulting
(business process analysis, configuration, user support), ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance of the enterprise cloud ERP environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Oracle Fusion Cloud environments across development, test, and production.
- Oversee patching, upgrades, cloning, and environment refreshes while ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
- Configure and monitor WebLogic Server, SOA Suite, OIC, and middleware components.
- Implement and manage user provisioning, roles, and security policies including SSO, data security, and segregation of duties.
- Support and troubleshoot integrations with on-premise or third-party systems via REST/SOAP APIs and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Perform system health checks, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis for application, database, and middleware issues.
- Automate operational tasks using shell scripting, Python, or other automation tools.
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, and Supply Chain teams to analyze requirements, configure Fusion modules, and design custom solutions.
- Execute functional setups, data migration (FBDI/ADFdi), and end-to-end testing for new features or enhancements.
- Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards using OTBI and BI Publisher.
- Partner with developers to deliver RICE components (Reports, Integrations, Conversions, Extensions).
- Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-go-live support for business stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Progressive experience as an Oracle Applications Administrator with hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Oracle Fusion Cloud modules: Finance (GL, AP, AR, FA), HCM, SCM, Procurement
- WebLogic Server, SOA, OIC, and other Fusion middleware components
- Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c) administration and SQL/PLSQL
- Integration technologies (REST/SOAP APIs, OIC pipelines, SFTP/Batch jobs)
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration and scripting for automation.
- Excellent troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Certifications
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect or Administrator.
- Oracle Fusion Cloud Implementation or Administration Specialist.
- Oracle Database OCP or relevant cloud certifications.
