Oracle RICE Developer

Location : Offshore India (Remote).
Work Hours : As per EST time zone.
Role Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Oracle RICE Developer with strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud reporting, data integration, and RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows) components. The role requires a combination of hands-on development skills and functional understanding of FIN, SCM, HCM, and PPM modules. The ideal candidate should be capable of building, customizing, and supporting data extracts, reports, and integrations in Oracle Fusion Cloud. Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and deliver Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Extensions (RICE) components for Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. - Develop and customize reports using BI Publisher (BIP), RTF templates, and eText templates for electronic communications (payments, invoices, etc. - Work on OTBI analysis and dashboards, and configure BICC extracts for reporting and data migration requirements. - Design and execute data conversions for FIN, SCM, HCM, and PPM modules, including creation of staging tables, validations, and load scripts. - Build and maintain integrations using OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud), including REST/SOAP web services, file-based integrations, and scheduled jobs. - Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business flows and requirements into technical solutions. - Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize RICEW objects for performance and scalability. - Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with client-specific standards and security requirements. - Work with OCI services (object storage, autonomous DB, compute) to support integration and reporting needs. - Participate in unit testing, SIT, and UAT cycles, providing defect resolution and production support. Required Skills & Experience :
- 6+ years of experience in Oracle Applications development, with minimum 3+ years in Oracle Fusion Cloud. - Strong expertise in BI Publisher, RTF/eText templates, BIP bursting, and XML data models. - Advanced knowledge of table/ER structures across FIN (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM), SCM (PO, INV, OM), HCM, and PPM modules. - Hands-on experience in OTBI report development and BICC extracts for large-volume data loads. - Working knowledge of OIC integrations file-based integrations, REST APIs, SOAP services, and error handling. - Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database object development (tables, views, packages, triggers). - Exposure to OCI services (Object Storage, Autonomous DB, Compute, Networking). - High-level understanding of end-to-end business flows in Finance, Supply Chain, HCM, and PPM. - Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and analytical skills. - Ability to work independently in offshore/remote model while collaborating with onsite/EST-based teams. Good to Have :
- Experience with ADFDI, FBDI templates and mass data loads. - Knowledge of workflow extensions/approvals (BPM/AME). - Familiarity with Agile methodology and DevOps practices. - Prior experience supporting US-based clients in EST hours. Education :
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
