Senior Oracle RAC DBA

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, upgrade, and manage

  Oracle RAC databases

  (12c, 19c) on

  Linux/Unix

  platforms.
• Manage

  Oracle ASM, Grid Infrastructure

  , and

  Clusterware

  configurations.
• Perform

  database backups and recovery

  using

  RMAN

  , and support DR testing and implementation.
• Tune RAC database performance and manage high availability solutions.
• Configure and maintain

  Oracle Data Guard (Physical/Logical Standby)

  .
• Conduct patching, cloning, and migration of RAC environments.
• Write and maintain

  shell scripts

  for automation of DBA tasks.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database and RAC-specific issues proactively.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to implement robust database solutions.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to ITIL standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 8+ years

  of experience as an Oracle DBA with

  at least 3+ years

  in

  RAC environments

  .
• In-depth knowledge of

  Oracle RAC, ASM, RMAN, Data Guard

  , and

  OEM/Grid Control

  .
• Strong hands-on skills in

  Linux/Unix administration

  and

  shell scripting

  .
• Experience with

  database migration, patching, upgrades

  , and automation.
• Familiarity with high availability and disaster recovery planning.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder coordination.
