Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
Support scheduled database jobs and resolve failures (debugging job errors, analyzing logs).
Analyze and troubleshoot issues in existing PL/SQL code and provide timely fixes.
Work on performance tuning of SQL queries, indexes, and PL/SQL blocks.
Collaborate with Local IT teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Implement exception handling, validations, and error logging in PL/SQL programs.
Ready to work on 24/7 Production support roles with rotational shifts.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL (procedures, functions, triggers, packages, cursors, collections).
Hands-on experience with Oracle 11g/12c/19c databases.
Good understanding of exception handling and debugging techniques.
Exposure to performance tuning (bulk collect, forall, indexes, execution plan basics).
Experience in scheduling and monitoring jobs (RMJ or any other job scheduling tools)
Knowledge of data modeling concepts (tables, constraints, sequences, indexes, partitions).
Ability to work in support/enhancement projects with SLAs.
Familiarity with UNIX/Linux shell scripting.
