Job Summary

 We are looking for an experienced PL/SQL Developer to lead and manage a team of database developers. The role involves hands-on technical leadership, project delivery, performance optimization, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will combine deep Oracle/PL/SQL expertise with strong people and delivery management skills. 

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership Provide technical leadership in Oracle PL/SQL design, development, and optimization Architect and review complex database solutions ensuring scalability, security, and performance Lead database performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimization initiatives Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and governance Guide teams on data modeling, schema design, and complex SQL/PLSQL development Review code, conduct technical audits, and ensure high-quality deliverables Lead, mentor, and manage a team of PL/SQL developers and senior engineers Allocate tasks, plan sprints, and track deliverables 

Technical Skills:

 712+ years of experience in Oracle Database & PL/SQL development Strong expertise in: Advanced SQL and PL/SQL Stored Procedures, Packages, Triggers, Cursors Performance tuning and optimization Experience with large-scale, high-volume transactional systems Strong understanding of data modeling and database architecture Experience with Oracle tools (SQL Developer, TOAD, OEM) Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments Familiarity with version control, CI/CD, and release management Proven experience leading and managing technical teams Strong project planning and execution capabilities Excellent stakeholder communication and presentation skills Ability to balance hands-on technical work with management responsibilities Experience managing multiple projects and priorities Preferred Qualifications Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance. Exposure to ETL, Data Warehousing, or Reporting solutions Having Oracle Certification would be better
