Oracle PaaS VBCS Technical Consultant

As an Oracle PaaS VBCS Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for designing and developing applications using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) and associated Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) components. Your key role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver end-to-end technical solutions. Additionally, you will handle integrations with REST and SOAP APIs, including managing authentication (OAuth 2.0) with Oracle IDCS. Extending functionalities in Oracle Fusion SCM using Oracle PaaS components will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. You will also focus on optimizing application performance and ensuring best practices in VBCS/OIC development. Furthermore, managing project timelines effectively and handling deliverables and priorities will be integral to your duties. In this role, you must possess extensive hands-on experience with Oracle PaaS and VBCS integrations. Proficiency in developing and integrating web services using REST and SOAP APIs is a mandatory skill. A strong knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is essential for success in this position. Desirable or secondary skills for this role include experience with Oracle SOA Suite, familiarity with Oracle ADF Technology, knowledge of Oracle Business Activity Monitoring (BAM), and an understanding of Oracle WebLogic Server administration and tuning. This is a contractual/temporary position with a contract length of 6 months. The preferred experience level for this role includes a total of 10 years of experience, with specific expertise in Oracle PaaS (8 years), Oracle SOA Suite (8 years), Oracle ADF Technology (8 years), and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) (7 years).
