About the Role

IT Consultant II UAT

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute UAT plans, schedules, and test cases.
  
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure UAT objectives are clearly defined.
  
• Track, log, and document defects, working closely with teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  
• Coordinate retesting of resolved defects and validate fixes with business users.
  
• Conduct status meetings and provide regular updates on UAT progress, issues, and risks.
  
• Ensure adherence to QA processes, industry best practices, and organizational standards.
  
• Support business users during UAT by addressing queries, training, and reviewing test results.
  
• Maintain comprehensive documentation (test plans, cases, results, defect logs).
  
• Validate that applications/software meet business requirements, usability, and performance expectations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  

• 5+ years

  of experience in technology development/engineering.

• 3+ years

  of UAT/SIT testing experience with

  Oracle HCM

  (configurations/customizations).

• 2+ years

  of experience in software testing or QA.
• Strong understanding of UAT processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  
• Hands-on experience with

  Agile/Scrum

  environments.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g.,

  JIRA, HP ALM

  ) and automation tools.
• Experience with projects involving SDLC implementation.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience translating functional/non-functional requirements into test cases & scripts.
  
• 2+ years of participation in defect triage calls and defect closure management.
  
• Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate across teams.
  
• 3+ years of experience with Oracle product releases, patches, and new features.
  
• Software testing certification (e.g.,

  ISTQB, CSTE

  ) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
