Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining Version 1 as a highly motivated and enthusiastic Oracle Functional Consultant, focusing on Oracle technologies within their award-winning ERP Practice. Your main responsibilities will include identifying and documenting business requirements, supporting clients through UAT lifecycles and Go Live, ensuring knowledge transfer to clients and support team, managing change requests through ITIL standards, liaising with Oracle for effective client SR management, providing support to team members, managing project delivery and business expectations, and assisting with risk and change management on projects. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and document business requirements and configuration using the Oracle Unified Method (OUM) methodology. - Support clients through full UAT lifecycles, parallel runs, and Go Live. - Ensure full Knowledge Transfer to clients and support team including updates on latest legislative changes and bug fixes from Oracle. - Conduct User Training. - Manage change requests through the software development lifecycle using ITIL standards. - Liaise with Oracle to ensure effective management of client SRs. - Provide support to team members responsible for delivery of technical objects. - Ensure on-time project delivery, meet business expectations, and ensure internal customer satisfaction. - Assist with risk management and change management on projects. Qualifications: - Ability to lead workshops with customers, define requirements, and convey solutioning to cloud projects. - Experience in other Oracle modules such as Oracle Time and Labour, Absence Management, and Benefits preferred. - Ability to research, learn, troubleshoot, and support complex system configuration and personalization. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Experience working effectively within a team. - Excellent mentoring and skills transfer capabilities. - Organized and self-motivated. Skills we admire: - SQL skills and experience of BI Publisher. - Functional and Technical problem investigation skills. - Additional Oracle module experience e.g., Financials, Procurement.
