Oracle Fusion Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Implementation Consultant

Experience: 6-8 years

Location: Remote - PST timings - US timings

Employment Type: Subcontract

Job Summary

The Oracle Fusion Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Implementation Lead Consultant is responsible for leading the end-to-end implementation of Oracle Fusion PPM modules. This includes solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. The role requires strong functional expertise, and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across business and technical teams.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in finance, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of implementation experience in Oracle Project Portfolio Management, with at least two full-cycle Oracle Fusion implementations.
    • Support experience is not considered relevant.
  • Deep knowledge of Oracle Fusion PPM modules.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with RICEW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows) is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document business requirements related to project portfolio management processes.
  • Design end-to-end solutions using Oracle Fusion PPM modules such as:
    • Project Costing
    • Project Billing
    • Project Control
    • Project Contracts
    • Resourcing
  • Configure Oracle PPM Cloud to align with business policies and compliance needs.
  • Lead the full implementation lifecycle including planning, design, build, test, deployment, and support.
  • Perform system configuration, customizations, and integration testing.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to integrate PPM with other modules such as Financials and SCM.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for business users and internal project teams.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for PPM-related queries and escalations.
  • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and performance in project portfolio management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and external audit requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation such as process flows, user guides, and configuration specifications.
  • Generate and analyze reports and dashboards to support project and portfolio decision-making.
