Oracle Financial Functional Consultant

Role Overview: You will be responsible for localizing financial modules to meet the tax requirements in India, specifically focusing on GST compliance. This includes customizing process configurations, reporting, and ensuring regulatory adherence. Additionally, you will be involved in project management, support and maintenance, system integration, training users, and documentation creation. Key Responsibilities: - Customize financial modules to comply with local tax requirements in India, especially GST regulations - Manage and execute financial system projects, including defining requirements and scheduling - Provide ongoing support to users, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure system maintenance - Ensure seamless integration between financial modules and other enterprise systems - Train new and existing users on financial modules and create user guides and documentation Qualifications Required: - Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in implementing Oracle EBS R12 financial modules (Cash Management, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, GL) - In-depth knowledge of localization requirements in India, particularly GST compliance, with experience in configuration - Experience with Oracle Cloud solutions and Projects Module is advantageous - Strong business process analysis skills and ability to define system requirements - High analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking - Ability to work independently, engage in self-learning, and familiarity with Oracle development tools - Understanding of intercompany processes and transactions across global entities - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a team-oriented environment - Strong English proficiency (written and verbal) - Experience in leading project teams is a plus - Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field Please note that this is a full-time position based in Bangalore, India.
