Oracle DBA - Exadata

As an experienced Oracle DBA with hands-on expertise in Exadata and RAC, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of databases through effective tuning and optimization techniques. Your role will involve implementing backup and recovery strategies and collaborating with teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. To qualify for this position, you should have at least 8 years of experience in Oracle DBA roles and a minimum of 3 years of MySQL DBA experience. You must demonstrate a strong understanding of OCI and Exadata Cloud Service migrations, disaster recovery planning, and replication strategies. Proficiency in monitoring tools such as OEM, MySQL Workbench, and Datadog is essential. Your responsibilities as an Oracle DBA will include leading the migration of databases to Exadata Cloud Service on OCI, designing low-downtime migration strategies, and conducting performance tuning and proactive issue resolution. You will also manage Oracle RAC, ASM, backups, patching, cloning, and DR environments while collaborating with other teams for production support. In addition to Oracle DBA duties, you will administer MySQL databases in production environments, set up and monitor replication and HA solutions, and perform query performance tuning and slow query analysis. Ensuring MySQL security, patching, and version upgrades will also be part of your responsibilities.
