Job Description

JD for Oracle DBA.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle databases (on-prem and/or cloud)
Monitor database performance, perform tuning and optimization (SQL & instance level)
Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Pump
Administer user access, roles, privileges, and security policies
Manage tablespaces, indexes, partitions, and storage parameters
Perform routine health checks, patching, and database migrations
Set up and maintain Oracle Data Guard, RAC, or GoldenGate (as applicable)
Monitor database jobs, troubleshoot failures, and resolve performance bottlenecks
Maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and changes
Support development teams with SQL/PLSQL code optimization and schema changes
