Oracle Database Administrator

In this role, you will work closely with Project & Support teams to quickly investigate and mitigate critical incidents impacting service availability of customers and be part of the enterprise application implementation projects targeted to BFSI domain.

Identify and deliver preventive measures, process improvements and automated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for common and frequent issues reported by many of our key / strategic customers with critical production databases. Work closely with various product teams to drive product implementation / service improvements in the areas of performance and resiliency.

• Oracle Exadata DMA
• ODA Installation or re-imaging.
• Oracle Database Management (11g, 12c, 19c)
• Performance Tuning and query optimization
• Backup and Recovery (RMAN, Data Pump)
• Database Security Management
• Cloud Platforms Oracle Cloud (AWS and/or Azure is a plus)
• Database Migration to cloud environments
• Scripting (Shell scripting, Python)
• Solution Design for scalable architectures
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Communication of technical concepts
• Project Management experience
• Pre-Sales Support
• Relevant Certifications (Oracle, Cloud Certifications)
• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• OEDA file preparation for Exadata deployment.
• Scale up and scale down resources on Exadata
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices
• Knowledge on Postgres/Redis/Other Databases would be add-on
• Knowledge on weblogic/Jboss is a plus
• knowledge on devops technologies
• knowledge on any middleware (weblogic, Apache, ngnix)
