Roles and Responsibilities : Define, implement and support database backup and recovery policies using RMAN. Working knowledge of ITIL processes. Perform database restoration and recovery in the event of a failure. Experience with Aix, Solaris and Linux (RHEL). Supports large number of Oracle databases. Production environments on Unix, Solaris, AIX and Linux OS. Performing Database Administration tasks independently in Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c and 19c. Db Upgrade. Upgrades, migrations and cloning. Backup, restore & recovery using Datapump or RMAN. Installation and troubleshooting in RAC and Grid. Lifecycle Management - Database creation, setup & decommissioning. Event/alert monitoring, space management, user management, Database monitoring. Replication via Goldengate and Data Guard. Adoptive for 24x7 Shift Support. Excellent spoken and written English Communication. Good attitude towards corporate environment. Hands on experience in Operations and Support of Oracle RDBMS 11g,12c and 19C. Database server administration (Oracle, MYSQL) and team management. Good communication skills, Need to participate in client meetings. Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting of Oracle and MYSQL ,Applications and break fixing of H/W and S/W issues . Working on Service Desk tickets. Coordinating with IT stake holders to fix the issues. Participate in internal/external audits to showcase the IT compliance status. Perform the IT related task and update the status higher management on regularly. Participating in Day/Weekly status review meetings Excellent oral and written communication skills Experience in Operating Systems tuning and configurations. Ability to obtain and maintain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) Preferred candidate profile
