Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) Engineer

Title: Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) Engineer Location: Remote Shift timings: Afternoon Shift Work location: Remote, Bengaluru or Hyderabad (Preferred). Experience: 4+ years Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust data and analytics solutions on the Oracle Analytics Cloud platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data modeling, BI reporting, dashboard creation, and integration of OAC with various Oracle and non-Oracle data sources. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) solutions, including data models, reports, dashboards, and KPIs. Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable analytics solutions. Build and optimize RPD (repository) models in OAC and ensure semantic layer alignment with business definitions. Integrate OAC with data sources such as Oracle Fusion, Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), and other cloud/on-premises systems. Automate data pipelines and schedule data loads using OAC Data Flows or external ETL tools. Implement data security and user access control within OAC. Conduct performance tuning and optimization of analytics dashboards and queries. Collaborate with data engineers, DBAs, and business analysts to ensure data integrity and report accuracy. Stay updated with Oracles roadmap for Analytics Cloud and recommend best practices and upgrades. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Analytics Cloud. Strong understanding of OAC architecture, components, and capabilities. Experience in RPD development, data modeling, and advanced calculations. Knowledge of Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and related services. Familiarity with SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting languages (Python preferred). Experience with data visualization best practices and UX-focused dashboard design. Knowledge of Oracle Fusion or ERP Cloud data models is a plus. Experience connecting to Oracle Essbase and on-premises databases is preferred. Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
