Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and ocular health.
• Perform various ophthalmic investigations, including but not limited to:
• Refraction
• Retinoscopy
• Biometry
• Keratometry
• Pachymetry
• Visual field analysis
• OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography)
• Prescribe and fit eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids.
• Diagnose and manage common eye conditions and diseases.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for surgical patients.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Collaborate effectively with ophthalmologists and other members of the healthcare team.
• Educate patients on proper eye care and hygiene.
• Operate and maintain ophthalmic equipment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Optometry or a Diploma in Optometry from a recognized institution.
• A minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience as an Optometrist.
• Proficiency in performing the investigations mentioned above.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
