Job Description

Perform comprehensive eye exams to assess vision and eye health. Diagnose and manage refractive errors (myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, presbyopia). Prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses based on patient needs. Detect and co-manage ocular diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration. Provide vision therapy and low-vision rehabilitation when needed. Educate patients on eye care, lifestyle changes, and preventive measures. Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals for specialized treatments. Maintain accurate patient records and follow ethical optometric practices. Stay updated with advancements in optometry and vision science.
