Job Description

Role & responsibilities We are looking for a results-driven Optimization Engineer to design and implement scalable optimization models for complex operational challenges. You will work with cross-functional teams to prototype, validate, and deploy solutions that improve fleet performance, turnaround time, and cost efficiency. Key Responsibilities & Qualifications: Develop and deploy optimization models using MILP, graph-based, heuristic, or meta-heuristic methods. Write clean, maintainable Python code to solve routing, scheduling, and allocation problems. Use SQL to query, process, and manipulate large datasets for optimization workflows. Collaborate with data engineers and product teams to deploy solutions via RESTful APIs. Familiarity with AWS cloud services for scalable model deployment. Rapidly prototype optimization strategies and validate them through stakeholder feedback. Good-to-have: Experience with CPLEX, Gurobi, RESTful APIs, and working with AIS/maritime tracking data.
