Role Overview: PhonePe Limited is looking for an Operations Engineer 2 to join their team. As a senior IC within the Audit team, you will be responsible for driving complex evidence tasks, automations, and mentoring Operations Engineer 1s. At PhonePe, you will have the opportunity to own specific technical audit evidence streams, automate repetitive tasks, mentor junior engineers, participate in audits, and support timely delivery of commitments. Key Responsibilities: - Own specific technical audit evidence streams such as backups, archival, and config reviews. - Automate repetitive evidence generation tasks to increase efficiency. - Mentor Operations Engineer 1 engineers and support their technical growth. - Participate in mock audits and external auditor walkthroughs to ensure compliance. - Maintain SOPs, checklists, and evidence repositories for easy reference. - Support the OEM in ensuring timely delivery of commitments to meet organizational goals. Qualifications Required: - 5-8 years of experience in infrastructure/SRE/operations roles. - Domain skills in Linux, Network, any coding language, and DB basics. - Hands-on experience in system monitoring, backups, archival, and audit evidence handling. - Strong scripting/automation experience to streamline processes. - Excellent documentation and communication skills for effective collaboration. - Ability to independently manage audit tasks with minimal supervision for efficient outcomes.
