Job Description

Detail design of Suspension sub systems and Suspension components
Creation of SOR/RFI documents for proprietary parts if required • System layout & envelope creation.
System design finalization considering packaging & performance requirements • Review the sub systems with supporting CAD engineer/s
Conduct GD & T, DFMEA & DVPs. • Participate in weekly project discussion with OEM customer & other stake holders • Provide inputs to cross function team and continuous follow up with team for the closure of points • Participate in DMU review
Root cause analysis of build & testing issues and implementation of suitable solution Handle team of 2-5 design engineers
Work experience in Passenger Cars / Commercial Vehicles • Hands on Design experience on Catia. • Experience in Passenger segment sub- systems like front axle, suspension, wheels & tyres.
Sound knowledge about calculations, material grades, processes manufacturing processes, different material grades used for automotive applications • Knowledge in BOM,GD&T, DFMEA, DVVP & DFA • Customer interaction
Catia (Primary Software Skill) • Creo (Will be additional advantage )
