The role of the post is to collaborate with the Service Manager and Clinical Director to ensure operational delivery of departmental services. This will include convening and chairing departmental meetings, managing rotas, co-ordinating annual leave and study leave, staff induction for clinical colleagues, protocol and guideline development, assisting in responding to complaints and leading the department for quality and patient safety. You will act as a focal point of communication both internally and externally, representing the views and interests of the department’s views within the National Treatment Centre-Highland and the National NTC Network and NHS Highland and within the Board Committee structure.
