Job Description

About the Role:

Ophthalmologist

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose and treat vision issues and eye diseases.
Prescribe corrective lenses and medications as required.
Perform eye surgeries, including cataract, glaucoma, LASIK, and retina-related procedures (as per specialization).
Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Provide patient education regarding eye health, preventive care, and treatment options.
Collaborate with optometrists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in ophthalmology and incorporate best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

MBBS
with
MS / MD / DNB in Ophthalmology
from a recognized institution.
Valid medical license to practice.
Proven experience in clinical and surgical ophthalmology.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Compassionate approach and commitment to patient-centered care.
Proficiency with ophthalmic instruments and diagnostic equipment.
