Ophthalmologist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ophthalmologist to join our growing healthcare team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing disorders of the eyes and vision system. You will play a key role in improving patients’ quality of life through expert care and surgical or non-surgical interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive eye examinations to detect vision problems, diseases, or abnormalities.

Diagnose and treat eye conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, infections, and other ocular diseases.

Conduct surgeries including cataract, LASIK, retinal, and other corrective or therapeutic procedures (as per specialization).

Prescribe and fit eyeglasses or contact lenses when required.

Collaborate with optometrists and other medical staff for comprehensive patient care.

Maintain accurate patient records and document all treatments and procedures.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in ophthalmology and participate in continuous learning.

Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and post-operative care instructions.

Qualifications and Skills:

MBBS with MS/MD/DNB in Ophthalmology from a recognized institution.

Valid medical license to practice in India.

Proven experience as an Ophthalmologist (minimum 2 years preferred).

Proficiency in using diagnostic and surgical ophthalmic equipment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and high level of patient care ethics.
