Operations Subject Matter Expert Team Member Credit

As an Operations Subject Matter Expert Team Member Credit at CommBank, you will be part of the Retail Operation & VERO Team based in Bangalore. Your primary focus will be on credit analysis, decision-making, verification, and monitoring throughout the credit lifecycle. You will play a crucial role in the development of credit policy and the implementation of credit strategies, including problem asset strategies, across the retail or corporate business segments. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and analyzing home loan applications against credit limits and frameworks, applying your knowledge of Australian home loan lending processes and regulations, and supporting credit risk management initiatives. You will utilize data analysis tools and techniques to assess and manage credit risks associated with home loan applications, collaborate effectively within a team environment to meet deadlines, and communicate credit risk analysis results clearly and concisely. Furthermore, you will participate in the development and implementation of credit risk assessment tools and processes, work productively as part of a team or independently to meet deadlines, provide coaching to team members, and communicate results and analysis of credit risks to management and key internal stakeholders, taking necessary actions with the business unit. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years" experience in a related credit risk analysis or verification role, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools, and a working knowledge of Australian home loan lending principles and regulations. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, or Business is required.
