Operations Manager, TPG Securities (Equities & Fixed Income) AVP

As an Operations Manager at TPG Securities (Equities & Fixed Income) with the AVP designation, your primary responsibility will be to lead the day-to-day operations in supporting the investments made by DWS on behalf of clients globally. This includes ensuring timely and accurate confirmation and settlement of trades for products such as Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Futures & Options, and OTC. Your role will involve collaborating with clients, Portfolio Managers, and Trading desks to address queries and provide expert opinions on the products you oversee. You will need to be market-savvy and have a good understanding of client and regulatory requirements. Working closely with various teams within the organization, including Portfolio Managers and Trading desks, you will play a crucial role in functional leadership and continuously drive efficiency initiatives. Building and maintaining relationships with brokers and custodians, as well as representing TPG/Ops/DWS in various forums, will be key aspects of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will lead a high-performing team, provide guidance on risk management, and actively participate in efficiency projects to enhance service delivery and keep the business competitive. Your skills and experience should include a strong understanding of securities end-to-end workflow, knowledge of different markets (US, EMEA, ASIA, etc.), project management skills, and familiarity with Corporate actions, F&O, and OTC. To excel in this role, you should possess a Graduation/Masters degree (Preferred- B.com/BBM/BBA/MBA/M.com/CA) with a background in Investment Banking Operations focusing on Equities & Fixed Income. Your ability to function effectively in a high-paced environment, along with excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, will be essential. Previous experience in people management, project leadership, and a proactive approach to risk management are also crucial.
