Job Description

As an Operations Manager for Marketplaces & E-commerce, you will play a crucial role in overseeing marketplace operations to ensure seamless order processing, inventory management, listing optimization, and compliance with marketplace guidelines. Your primary focus will be on driving operational efficiency, enhancing customer experience, and collaborating with internal teams, logistics partners, e-commerce clients, and marketplace platforms. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing Order & Inventory: Supervising order processing, inventory planning, and stock tracking across all marketplaces and e-commerce clients. Collaborating with warehouse and supply chain teams for effective inventory management, tracking returns, processing CN/transfer orders, and handling claims for lost or damaged stock. - Listing Management & Optimization: Coordinating content creation for new listings in adherence to marketplace guidelines, creating new listings accurately, monitoring and optimizing listing scores, executing listing strategies, and updating the Brand Store with new listings. - Customer Insights & Performance Monitoring: Tracking product reviews, customer complaints, and identifying areas for improvement. Ensuring timely resolution of customer queries and complaints while generating and maintaining reports on marketplace performance metrics. - Promotions & Pricing Control: Planning and executing deals, coupons, and promotions, monitoring pricing integrity, and ensuring only authorized sellers list company products on marketplaces. - Data & SOP Management: Maintaining master databases for SKUs and keywords, establishing operational SOPs for marketplace management, and providing product information sheets to e-commerce clients as required. - Logistics & Fulfillment: Coordinating with shipping and logistics partners to optimize delivery timelines and costs. - Retail Order Processing: Ensuring smooth marketplace operations and order processing. Your technical competence should include proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Zoho books & inventory and Power BI would be advantageous. Key skills and qualifications for this role include strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experience with e-commerce platforms and marketplaces, proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, knowledge of inventory management and supply chain processes, experience in customer service and problem resolution, ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and strong organizational and time management skills. Additionally, having a background in the pet industry or being a pet parent would be considered a bonus.,
