Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Prepare the operation theatre for ophthalmic surgeries (Cataract, Retina, LASIK, etc.)
Ensure sterilization and proper handling of surgical instruments and equipment
Assist ophthalmologists during surgeries as per OT protocols
Maintain OT hygiene, infection control, and safety standards
Operate and maintain ophthalmic OT equipment
Coordinate with nursing staff and doctors for smooth OT functioning
Maintain OT records, checklists, and inventory
Adhere to hospital policies, NABH standards, and clinical protocols

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma / Degree in OT Technology or equivalent qualification
2-7 years of experience in an ophthalmic OT (preferred)
Knowledge of eye surgery instruments and OT procedures
Familiarity with sterilization techniques and infection control
Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency cases

Work Location

Hyderabad (Vasan Eye Care Hospital-various units)
